We ended the year 2023 with the TA3 Energy Conference on Green Solutions for Business and Energy, which brought together a number of speakers.
One of them was our CEO Florián Kevický, who in the beginning of the discussion panel talked about how we can't stop wondering how technology in the energy sector is advancing.
"The energy industry hasn't exactly been an industry that's been any kind of aggressive player. You could see the most cutting-edge technology in telecommunications and banking and maybe in military technology security. But nowadays the energy sector is catching up quite nicely, and it's not just because of the war in Ukraine, it's because of the overall approach of the European Union."
"There's a lot of money being invested in developing new technologies in this area as well, and we're moving forward and advancing technologies like I mentioned with artificial intelligence, where we're trying to predict different things to help producers and energy market organizers to manage more perfectly"
"We do technology for gas as well. Gas can be stored, but electricity cannot. If we take a little bit with flashlights, but current battery technology does not yet allow us to store the amount of energy that could conceptually help us solve the electricity shortage problem. Batteries help to regulate a little bit and cover some of the shortages, but electricity has to be managed over time. That means when someone produces, it would be nice for someone to consume just that amount."
"Well a we offer the market technologies that can provide information flows for all of the participants in the energy market so that it's best able to interconnect and so that we have the least amount of losses and the least amount of need to regulate so that we don't burn up transmission lines, so that the distribution companies are able to absorb all of that green energy and get it to where it needs to go."
We thank TA3 TV for the invitation.
